- (Too Pure)
Mclusky fans, rejoice. Comprised of two-thirds of Mclusky (singer/guitarist Andy Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone) along with Kelson Mattias of fellow Welsh band Jarcrew, Future of the Left debut with a blistering album of aggressive indie-punk. With a brutal, angular sound, scathing, sarcastic lyrics and some wickedly catchy hooks, they’re not far-removed from Mclusky, but occasional added keyboards, more prominent backing vocals and an overall greater attention to detail give the band a more multidimensional sound. 1/29/2008
