This British band’s third album (or fourth, counting the tossed-together mini-album Nightfreak and the Sons of Becker) is similar to the ‘60s psychedelic folk-pop sound of 2003’s Magic and Medicine, but haunted melodies and foreboding song titles give the album a considerably darker overall tone. 8/16/2005
