The second album from Gravenhurst (aka Bristol, England’s Nick Talbot) is a deceptively lovely outing of melancholy folk-pop. Talbot’s delicate vocals, poetic lyrics and gentle guitar picking are reminiscent of Nick Drake, but his songs on the whole are quite a bit darker. 6/11/2004
