A fun debut album of no-frills, kick-ass rock and roll from this Austin band. Fast-paced and riff-heavy while staying clear of wankish guitar solos, their sound sports a pretty strong AC/DC influence, but Jennifer Stephens’ sassy New Waveish vocal style provides a fresh counterpoint to frontman Chris Hodge’s rabid shouting and screaming. 4/12/2004
