Guided By Voices just never slow down, do they? The indie rock institution just released the double album, Zeppelin Over China, earlier this month which followed last year’s 25th studio album, Space Gun – not to mention the two LPs the band dropped in 2017, August By Cake and How Do You Spell Heaven. But without even taking a second to breathe, the Robert Pollard-led band are gearing up to focus on their second album of the year, Warp And Woof.

Comprised of 24 tracks, the album is split into four separate limited-edition 7″ EPs, each one comprising six songs. The Wine Cork Stonehenge and 100 Dougs EPs dropped in December, and the Umlaut Over The Özone and 1901 Acid Rock EPs will drop on March 29. The full Warp And Woof album will be out April 26 via Rockathon Records. Today, the band has shared the song “Angelic Weirdness” off the record (it’s not clear which of the EPs it will be included on). A quick little indie-rock number, it’s another great addition to the massive GBV catalog.
