It's May 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day. Like many pop-culture phenomena, the epic space saga has made its way into music, influencing everything from band names, lyrics, and even stage attire. (Looking at you, Gnarls Barkley.) To celebrate the Lucas legacy, today we've compiled a galactic force of songs, bands, or lyrics inspired by Star Wars. Enjoy, and may the fourth be with you!

(Lyrics: "I Strike the Empire Back / Fuck the Empire / High flyin' like the Millennium Falcon, piloted by Han Solo / I never roll for dolo, frontin' on me's a no-no")

(Both UNKLE tracks samples the 1978 TV show The Star Wars Holiday Special.)

(Lyrics: "These aren't the droids you're looking for / But I'll let you know if I see any more")

(Ash really like Star Wars...)

(Lyrics: "But if you ain't a sweety indeedy, I won't endorse / Han Solo 'til I'm hit by the bullet, so may the force / Be with you, and I'll hit you when better time permits / For now, show me samples, examples of why you're the shit!")

(Lyrics: "Swishing through the City Center / I did a couple favors for these guys who looked like Tusken Raiders.")

(The sample is C3PO saying "We're doomed.")

(Rob Crow really likes Star Wars...)
