Girlpool Announce Third Studio Album What Chaos Is Imaginary

Los Angeles indie rock duo Girlpool have announced a new album titled What Chaos Is Imaginary. Due for release on February 1 via Anti-, the record features two recently shared singles “Where You Sink” and “Lucy’s.” Today, Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad have shared another single intended as the album’s lead single called “Hire.” The album is the first since Tucker’s journey of gender transition and their lower register is on display as the lead vocal on the evocative new single.

What Chaos Is Imaginary follows 2017’s Powerplant. Girlpool will take the Neumos stage on Saturday, April 13. Listen to “Hire” below.
