Here in the Northwest, our love of biking is right on par with our love of local music. The Gigantic Bicycle Festival is the ideal intersection between these two passions, and then some. On August 18 to 20th, the festival returns to Snoqualmie with three days of energizing PNW bands, locally produced short films, and, of course, a ton of bicycles.

This year's lineup may be one of the fest's most exciting yet, with headlining sets from the floating dream-pop of Lemolo to the surf-garage vibes of former Seattleites La Luz. Former Goodness lead vocalist Carrie Akre will grace the stage, as will the spirited Star Anna and thriving Seattle rapper Taylar Elizza Beth and more. Before the music gets underway, Friday evening will be dedicated to showcasing works by local filmmakers that heavily focus bicycles in their short films. You'll also be able to view bike inspired art from local artists as well.  If all the bicycle themes and imagery have got you itching to hop on your own ride, there will be road rides throughout the weekend ranging from eight mile family jaunts to heftier 50 mile treks to Snohomish and back. Reacquaint yourself with some of the artists playing below and get ready for the ultimate bike lover weekend.
