North Carolina indie rock legends Superchunk have dropped a new limited edition 7" featuring the anthemic original track "Break the Glass" on the A-side (featuring vocals from A Giant Dog's Sabrina Ellis), and a cover of Corrosion of Conformity's "Mad World" on the B-side. The band released another 7" earlier this year but haven't released a full-length since 2013's I Hate Music. Frontman Mac McCaughan says the track, "is a song about realizing you are in an emergency situation and trying to not lose your shit so you can respond to the ongoing disaster in a productive way. Trying to figure out why so many people around you are acting like nothing is wrong and wondering if maybe you’re the one that’s crazy… but you know you’re not." All proceeds from the single are being donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center. [ Brooklyn Vegan ]

Beck released his latest album Colors last week and today he appeared as a musical guest on Ellen to perform "Up All Night." On the same episode, Snoop Dogg showed up to talk about his recent Emmy nomination for his show with Martha Stewart, "Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party." Colors is out now via Capitol Records and has received critically mixed reviews. [ Pitchfork ]

Morrissey has shared the official video for the lead single off his forthcoming album Low In High School, "Spent The Day In Bed." Featuring an appearance from footballer Joey Barton, who wheels Morrissey around the 142-year-old Peckham Liberal Club, Morrissey spends the entirety of the video sitting. The clip was directed by Sophie Muller, who's previously done videos for Beyoncé, Kings Of Leon, Blur, The Killers and Annie Lennox. Low In High School is out November 17 and Morrissey will play the Paramount on Thursday, November 2. [ NME ]

La Blogothèque is most known for their Take Away Shows video series but today they debuted a new video series called "One2One" in which the premise is that one musician performs an intimate show for one person. The first clip of the series features Bon Iver and a "kidnapped" concert-goer from the Michelberger Music Festival. Bon Iver (or just "Justin" as he introduces himself) played "8 (Circle)" from last year's 22, A Million to his kidnapee in some sort of abandoned warehouse (which sounds a lot creepier than the actual result).
