  • Last week, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced that they would be reissuing their classic debut album, 2003's Fever To Tell. The reissue comes with two never before released songs from that time, "Phone Jam" and "Shake It," as well as a documentary called There Is No Modern Romance. The trailer for the documentary has now been shared and includes footage from their 2003 tour, arguments amongst the members, and overall drunken moments. The full box set is due out October 20th.   • St. Vincent joined Fiona Apple's set at the Trans-Pecos Festival in Marfa, Texas, making the dream collaboration of these two idols a reality. Together, they played "Pale September," "First Taste," and a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Money Changes Everything." Clark has a new album on the way called MASSEDUCTION and has shared the tracks "New York" and "Los Ageless" from it. A release date has not been announced. [ Pitchfork ]

  • Beck is releasing his new album Colors on October 13 and a snippet of one of its unshared tracks "Square One" has been featured in the trailer for season two of HBO's Divorce, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church. So far, Beck has shared "Wow," "Dreams," "Up All Night," "Dear Life," and "Distraction." Colors follows up the Grammy Album Of The Year-winning Morning Phase. The new album has been described by Beck as “simple and uplifting and galvanising, where the spirit moves you, that kind of feeling.” [ NME ]
  • Toronto trio the Rural Alberta Advantage are releasing their fourth full-length, The Wild, on October 13 via Saddle Creek Records. Following up the previously shared songs, "White Lights" and "Beacon Hill," is their third single "Toughen Up." It's a jangly, driving number with discordant drums and luscious synths. The Rural Alberta Advantage are playing Neumos on Tuesday, November 21 with Yukon Blonde. [ Stereogum ]
