  • Swedish experimental rock outfit Goat have unveiled their latest track "Alarms." It's an otherworldly, psychedelic number that is completely befitting of the masked misfits. Their new album Requiem is out on October 7 via Sub Pop. [Stereogum]

  • Crystal Castles are getting ready to release their first album since the departure of former frontwoman Alice Glass. It's not easy for a new lead singer to fill those shoes in an established band, but Edith Frances has risen to the challenge.   • Back in June, The Strokes' Will Butler dropped his live, solo album Friday Night. Now he's shared a charming video for the album's title track. Directed by comedian Jo Firestone, the video features a look at his adorable family as they grow older. [SPIN]
