Pride-Related Events Happening This Week (That You Won't Want to Miss)

It's Pride Week and this Sunday, two can't-miss celebrations will be in full effect -- Seattle's Pride Parade and the KEXP Pride Party! Of course, no one wants to wait until Sunday to celebrate so we wanted to fill you in on some other fun Pride happenings you might be interested in leading up to the main events.

WEDNESDAY

Pride Kickoff Party @ Purr- Join RuPaul's Drag Race star RAJA. More info

Pride of Arthaus @ Kremwerk- Come join Hosts Cherry Sur Bete and Shelita Potroast as we have a balls out Wrap up Party for our 1st and 2nd seasons of Arthaus! More info.

Let Your Love Shine: A Queer Tribute to Orlando @ Neumos - Featuring music from DJs Riff Raff, Reverend Dollars, and Miss Shelrawka, and performances from Ebo Barton, Ms. Briq House, The Lady B, Sarah Galvin, and Whitney Mongé. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Equality Florida’s fund supporting the victims of and those affected by the Pulse Nightclub murders.  More info.

Gay Pride with Drag Race All-Stars @ R Place (9:30pm) - Kick off Pride Weekend with three nights of RuPaul's Drag Race stars JUJUBEE, LATRICE, & LA SAVEONA.

TransPride Seattle @ Cal Anderson (5pm)- 4th annual TransPride March! March assembles at 5:00 PM and steps off at 6:00 PM at a Capitol Hill location (TBA). Followed by a celebration in Cal Anderson Park from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM featuring speakers Kris Hayashi, Gabriel Foster, and more! More info.

SATURDAY

Capitol Hill Pride March and Rally (10am-11pm) - Lots happening in Capitol Hill on Saturday! Also includes Family Pride and Queer Youth Pride and Into the Streets Pride. Spend the day enjoying the pride festivities, entertainment like a Michael Jackson tribute show and Doggie Drag Costume Contest, and food trucks. More info
