  • It's been a long wait, but the new Bon Iver album, 22, A Million, hits stores this Friday. We've heard a few new songs already, and today, we've got another one: check out the single "8 (a circle)" below, which debuted on Annie Mac's show on BBC Radio 1. You can read more about the new album on the KEXP Blog here, and stay tuned for future NW tour dates. [Under the Radar]

  • Low-key folkie Devendra Banhart released his latest last week, Ape in Pink Marble, and today he shares a video for the single "Saturday Night." Directors Jon Beasley and Isabelle Albuquerque of Osk Studios capture Banhart on the dance floor with babies, and at one point, a dog. Check it out below. [Pitchfork]

  • It was announced this morning that Björk has been added to this year's Iceland Airwaves Music Festival line-up. In other news, water is wet. (We kid!) The Icelandic icon will give a special orchestral performance on Saturday, November 5th at the Harpa Opera House. As always, be sure to follow along with KEXP's coverage of this festival here on the KEXP Blog! [Under the Radar]

  • Every so often, Andrew Bird pops up on Facebook for a series he calls Live From The Great Room. For the latest edition, he brought out special guest Fiona Apple, who you may recall, collaborated with Bird on the track "Left Handed Kisses" from his latest LP. In this 30 minute video, they perform one of her tracks ("Werewolf" from The Idler Wheel...), and one of his ("Why?" off Swimming Hour). The also cover Bob Dylan's "Oh Sister," tackle the old pop standard "(I’d Like To Get You On A) Slow Boat to China," and debut a new song they say was co-written by a 5-year-old. It's all very charming; watch below, and then watch his equally charming KEXP session here. [Stereogum]
