  • Merge Records rocker Mikal Cronin continues to kill it in the music video realm. Earlier this month, he enlisted comedians Kristen Schaal, Paul Scheer, and Kurt Braunohler to remake a Natalie Imbruglia video (watch here). Today, he tackles the clip for Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al” for his own track "Say" off MCIII. Braunohler, Nelson Franklin, Nick Thune, and a slew of other comedians are all vying for the part originated by Chevy Chase, and things take a surprisingly grim turn. Watch below. • Speaking of hilarious videos, Jenny Lewis shares her own, poking fun at her child star history. In the clip for "She’s Not Me," a highlight from her latest, The Voyager, she's joined by Fred Armisen, Feist (as a priest!), Leo Fitzpatrick, Vanessa Bayer, and more. Together, they spoof her roles on The Golden Girls, Troop Beverly Hills, The Wizard, and more. (Why no love for Foxfire, Jenny?) Watch below, and check out photos from last weekend's performance at the Sasquatch Music Festival here: [Spin]

  • Brooklyn artist Mr. Twin Sister (formerly known as just Twin Sister) are about to hit the road in support of their recent self-titled second full-length. To celebrate, they've shared the new single "The Erotic Book," a total club-ready groove. Listen below, and keep your fingers crossed for a future Seattle date. [Pitchfork]

  • Julian Casablancas + The Voidz unveil their epic video for the track "Human Sadness" from their latest Tyranny. The 13-minute-long clip, directed by Warren Fu and Nicholaus Goosen, features hot rods, sleazy hotel rooms, apocalyptic storms, but, unlike Mikal and Jenny, no comedians. Watch below: [Stereogum]
