  • Luminescent UK singer/songwriter Laura Marling shares a video today for the track "Gurdjieff’s Daughter" off her stunning new release, Short Movie. The clip was shot in Marling's East Los Angeles home, and features cameos from Vampire Weekend guitarist Rostam Batmanglij and musician Jonathan Wilson, just to name a few.   • Franz Ferdinand and iconic sibling duo Sparks have combined forces to form six-member supergroup FFS. Their self-titled debut (which features the perfectly-titled track "Collaborations Don’t Work") was recorded in the UK with producer John Congleton, and will hit stores June 8th on Domino.   • In another excellent collaboration, Animal Collective's Panda Bear brings his wizardry to the Interpol track "All the Rage Back Home." Hear his frenetic take on the track below. The original version of the song appears on the Interpol album El Pintor, out now on Matador. [Spin]

  • Can you believe alt-J are still pounding the pavement in support of last year's release, This Is All Yours? Earlier this week, they played their largest U.S. show to date at Madison Square Garden, and last night, they took to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform "Every Other Freckle."
