Baio is the solo project of London-via-NYC musician Chris Baio, best-known as the bassist for Vampire Weekend. His solo works as Baio began in 2012 with EP releases on stellar electronic music labels Greco-Roman, Future Classic, and Club Mod, culminating in his recent debut full-length album, The Names, that finds inspiration in both the his experiences in Vampire Weekend as well as his formative college days as a party DJ. His exclusive mix for Midnight In A Perfect World is a smooth set that spotlights his affinity for hypnotic underground gems primed for sharp and adventurous dancefloors.
