Today’s song, featured on the Afternoon Show with Kevin Cole, is “Moment” by Ever So Android from the self-released 2015 album Disconnect.

Ever So Android - Moment (MP3)

Shooting electronica sounds through the dark center of their rock, Ever So Android makes a case for both heavy movements and delicate footwork. The Seattle duo of Hope Simpson and Drew Murray create a deep sound that leads its fierce vocals with intense and vibrant timing. Fitting melodically into the local scene since 2012, Ever So Android have gained a reputation for electrifying live shows. Now, with Disconnect , their first official release since their 2013 self-titled debut EP, ESA further defines their unique sound. From it, "Moment" is a perfect preview, carrying over the familiar electronic jolts and distorted guitar of the EP but showcasing a more passionate and assured take on their gritty, industrial electro-rock. Repetitive but engaging, this riff-heavy "Moment" is one you won't soon forget.

You can actually see Ever So Android tonight at Substation as part of NadaMucho's #41for2015Fest, performing under the name "Sardine Overdo", alongside other local bands Goodbye Heart, Lilac and Patrick Galactic. Find out more on their Facebook page and website, and be sure to watch their new video for “Moment” below.
