  • Yesterday, we shared that The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will be releasing their third album, Days of Abandon, on April 22nd, and today we've got the first single to share with you. The band are playing The Vera Project on May 3rd with Fear of Men. [Spin]

  • Last year's Franz Ferdinand album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions, was a favorite of KEXP listeners, and the UK band are following it up with a new single, out April 7th. Check out the b-side, "Erdbeer Mund," below, sung entirely in German. [Stereogum]

  • Gorillaz/Blur frontman Damon Albarn is releasing his debut solo album, Everyday Robots, on April 29th. You can check out the world-weary video for the track "Lonely Press Play" below, which was filmed by Albarn using a tablet. [Pitchfork]

  • Once you're caffeinated on the James Murphy-brand of Espresso, you can dig into the five-LP set LCD Soundsystem plan to release of their final show at Madison Square Garden in 2011.
