When Lost Lander's Matt Sheehy sings, "It feels like we've been walking on wire," we can relate. It's a tightrope act with the band Lost Lander, a tension created by catchy loops, and layered lyrics, either of which are all too easy to get lost in. "Hold onto that thread," Sheehy advises, and he's not kidding around.

KEXP is proud to present the premiere of the song, "Walking on a Wire," from the soon-to-be-released new Lost Lander album, Medallion. Based in Portland, Oregon, what started out as a project founded by singer/songwriter Matt Sheehy and producer Brent Knopf of Menomena, has evolved into a strong four piece band, with a rich, rounded sound.

The new album, Medallion, is set for release on February 24, 2015. In the meantime, you can catch Lost Lander at the Sunset Tavern on Sunday, December 7, at 8PM, and in Oregon and Wenatchee on the days before. Find out more on their Facebook page and start "Walking on a Wire" now:
