  • Former Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle shares a new live album today via Bandcamp. The release — appropriately titled House Show — was recorded back in May at his friend Stephan Bayley’s home in Portland. It's an intimate, casual affair, with great in-between song banter left in the recording. Stream below: [Stereogum]

  • British punk band Male Bonding haven't released a new album in three year, but that may be changing soon. Today they're back with a bang thanks to the aptly titled single "A Kick To The Face." Let's hope this means there's another album on the horizon. [Stereogum]

  • Sam Smith shared the adorably, playful video for his The Lonely Hour track "Like I Can." Smith and a few friends are dressed to the nines as they serenade strangers around New York City. It's sure to put a smile on your face. [CoS]

  • She & Him covered the Beach Boys' classic "God Only Knows." The duo's version of the song appeared on Zooey Deschanel's show New Girl earlier this week. It's not a complete departure from the original, but Deschanel's unique vocals add an interesting twist. [Stereogum]

  • Rapper Big K.R.I.T. takes you on a melancholic tour of his Mississippi roots in the new "Soul Food" video. Memories of family and delicious, Southern cooking fill his abandoned childhood home. Check it out. [CoS]
