  • Speaking of bizarre music videos, Father John Misty (a.k.a. Josh Tillman) also shares a new clip today for the track "Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)." Tillman used his iPad to shoot a kaleidoscopic clip of himself and his wife on their honeymoon, declaring in a press release, "I don't care all that much if you like the music video or not. The label isn't crazy about it. Management isn't crazy about it. I have been informed I'm basically kissing an MTV 'Woodie' award goodbye forever." [Under the Radar]

  • It's been a long wait for someone with nothing to think about, but Northwest faves Modest Mouse have teased via their Instagram account that the wait for new music might be over soon. The band posted a photo of a record with the words "Side A" and "Lampshades On Fire" written on it. No official release date set yet, but once it's out, it'll be their first new music since the 2009 EP No One's First and You're Next. [Spin]

Watch their lovely performance below, and keep track of all the TV musical highlights with KEXP's TV Eye column. Watch the Söderberg sisters perform in the KEXP studios here on the KEXP Blog.
