KEXP Suggests: Girls That Shred Benefit for Skate Like a Girl

KEXP is proud to sponsor Girls That Shred, a benefit concert for local grassroots organization Skate Like a Girl, on Friday, January 10th at the Vera Project with Chastity Belt, TacocaT, Atomic Bride, Summer Babes, Lures, and our own KEXP DJ Sean.Proceeds from the night will go towards the Youth Employment Skateboarding (YES) program’s fourth summer in operation. The YES program has trained over 30 young men and women, collectively logging over 2,000 hours of volunteer service through supporting over 200 events, and teaching over 1,500 skateboard lessons to kids in Seattle, and the greater area.

Attendees can also enter a raffle to win full skate decks, gear, apparel, art pieces, music lessons, and more. Tickets are on sale now HERE.
