After years of winning over audiences with their high-energy performances, local band Tres Leches are finally releasing their debut album, Amorfo, today. The punk trio brings something completely unique, taking on different genres, languages, and instruments throughout their performances, as well as the new record. Our Song of the Day, “I Try,” is a raw, fuzzed-out, emotional jam. The band, made up of  Alaia D’Alessandro, Ulises Mariscal, and Zander Yates, previously explained the song like this: “We think it’s about how sometimes understanding can lead to feelings of isolation and sometimes you realize that you’re floating between alternative realities none of which are entirely true, and that can be uncomfortable or even seemingly unbearable.”

The trio celebrates the release of Amorfo tonight, September 28, at Clock-Out Lounge. Watch the video for “What Are You Doing” below.
