Philly indie-punk trio Thin Lips released their sophomore album, Chosen Family, in late July via Lame-O Records. Our Song of the Day, “Gaslight Anthem (The Song Not The Band)” was a punchy early single of the record. The track features backing vocals from Hop Along’s Frances Quinlan, Modern Baseball’s Brendan Lukens, and Kississippi’s Zoe Reynolds to create an anthemic riffer. Below, watch the video for “A Song For Those Who Miss You All The Time,” also off Chosen Family. It was produced and edited by Chrissy Trashjian, additional shooting help by Kenzi Crash and production help by Adam Pedito.
