Brian has been doing a punk rock Christmas special every year since 2004, and has been a Christmas Day on-air DJ since 2012. No standards are played, only original songs, most with a humorous bent. Johnny Bartlett has a long history playing in Surf & Garage bands (The Barbary Coasters, The Phantom Surfers, etc.) and The Ogres are more on the stomping side of things. This great snotty cut can be found on a holiday comp from the excellent Bellingham, Wa label Double Crown Records. Fun!
Earlier this year, The Ogres released the single "Third Man Fuzz / Uh Huh" on Hillsdale Records, and if you happen to live in Sacramento, you can catch the guys on Saturday, December 30th at the Old Ironsides.
