KEXP 90.3 FM - where the music matters

Father John Misty (known also, in milder times, as Josh Tillman) knows how to put on a show. At the most recent Little Big Show, FJM slinked across the stage to the pulses of his exceptional backing band, punctuating each razor-sharp lyric with a corresponding (and correspondingly tongue-in-cheek) interpretive gesture, replete with cynical eye-rolls and insinuating hip-shakes. You can't see any of this, of course, in the audio recording, but if you listen with half an ear, you can easily imagine it happening- it's not as great as having been there, but still absolutely worth the time.
