Singer Becky Stark took the name Lavender Diamond from a punk operetta character in the indie play "Bird Songs of the Bauharoque", which she co-authored and starred in. The play got famous and toured. Becky moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and formed the indie pop band Lavender Diamond. - M. Myers
