KEXP 90.3 FM - where the music matters

An exuberant blend of New Orleans Jazz brass band and West African polyrhythms and songs from their native Benin- the Gangbe Brass Band play a four song set of old and new songs during their first Seattle visit. This 10 member group includes seven horn players, from cornet to sousaphone, along with three African percussionists. Their set includes two new songs not yet recorded- in one of the most fun live sessions yet recorded for "The Best Ambiance". - J. Kertzer
