2004 Smithsonian Folklife Festival
A trio from Veracruz, Mexico perform the distinctive son jarocho style of the region. Led by Jose Gutierrez on the small 4-string guitar "requinto", with brothers Marcos Ochoa on the 8 string rhythm guitar "jarana", and Felipe Ochoa on harp, all instruments are hand-built by Gutierrez. - J. Kertzer
