Listen to one-of-a-kind in-studio performances recorded live at KEXP. Recent guests include:

Black Moth Super Rainbow - 5/20/2013
Pittsburgh avant-rock band Black Moth Super Rainbow recently dropped by KEXP for a dark, swirling set of heavily-effected tunes from their 2012 album "Cobra Juicy," live on The Midday Show.

Sax G - 5/19/2013
Seattle-based hip-hop wizard Sax G dropped by Street Sounds for a hypnotic live set of otherworldly tunes, equal parts trip-hop, jazz, IDM, poetry and landscape painting. Sound unlikely? Give a listen- you won't be disappointed.

Uncluded, The - 5/18/2013

Man or Astro-Man? - 5/18/2013
Alabama space-rockers/robots from the future Man or Astro-Man? dropped by KEXP HQ for an ear-drum busting live set of singles from their newest album, "Defcon 5...4...3...2...1." It is A) excellent pump-up music for devising an evil plan for world domination, and B) a hell of a good show. Listen here.

Sexdrug - 5/18/2013
Everything you need to know about Seattle thrashers Sexdrug can be summed up in the refrain of "Sex Machine," one of their many charged songs about sex, drugs, and every conceivable combination thereof. It goes: "Sex Machine/Sex Machine/Fill my cookie with gasoline." Sexdrug recently blasted through a live performance on KEXP's Sonic Reducer; needless to say, the set is well worth the listen. Smoke your drugs, grab your partner, and strap in.

Cam The Mac - 5/18/2013
Seattle MC Cam The Mac recently blazed through the KEXP studio for a laid back set of singles from his newest output, "2Hunnidx6," blasted live on Audioasis.

Gerald Collier - 5/17/2013
Singer-songwriter and general man-of-the-world Gerald Collier recently returned to the studio for a spare set of songs from his brand new album, "Help Is On The Way," live on The Midday Show.

Daughter - 5/16/2013
London-based indie trio Daughter recently jumped across the pond to promote their newest LP, "If You Leave." Listen here to their dynamic, expressive set of songs, performed live on KEXP.

Pokey LaFarge - 5/15/2013
American Roots maestro Pokey LaFarge dropped by The Roadhouse with his band for a pitch-perfect live set of charismatic singles from his upcoming eponymous LP.

Laura Marling - 5/15/2013
British folk songwriter Laura Marling recently graced the KEXP studio with a beautifully spare set of songs from her newest album, "Once I Was An Eagle," live on The Midday Show.

Colleen Green - 5/14/2013
Garage-punk upstart Colleen Green recently rolled through the KEXP studio in support of her newest LP, "Sock it To me." Take some time to listen to her set of minimal, razor-sharp tunes, performed live on the Midday Show.

Os Mutantes - 5/14/2013
Venerated Brazilian psych-tropicalia pioneers Os Mutantes recently graced the KEXP studio with a crystal-clear set of new classics from their latest LP, "Fool Metal Jack," live on Wo Pop.

Spirit Family Reunion - 5/13/2013
NYC roots-folksters Spirit Family Reunion fill up the KEXP studio for a hollering, celebratory set of foot-stompers, live on Swingin' Doors.

Black Angels, The - 5/13/2013
Austin Psych Rockers The Black Angels recently packed the Triple Door for a buzzing live set of kaleidoscopic tunes.

Grenades - 5/12/2013
Seattle thrashers Grenades rip through a searing set of songs from their new LP, "Heaven is Empty," live on Seek and Destroy.

Kurt Vile - 5/12/2013
Philly native Kurt Vile returns to the KEXP studio with his excellent band, The Violators, for a live set of songs from his newest, "Wakin on a Pretty Daze." The band isn't afraid of establishing a vibe and then reveling in it for a long while, and each tune builds and thrives on this perfect tension between hazy, dissolute jamminess and laser-focused musical/emotional exposition. It's a hell of a thing they've done with their live sound, and well worth a listen, or a hundred.

Julia Massey & The Five Finger Discount - 5/11/2013
Local pop trio Julia Massey & The Five Finger Discount have a knack for the sunny and the upbeat; their songs sparkle with bright tones, up-tempo drum lines and feather-delicate vocal hooks. They recently stopped by the KEXP studio for a shimmering live performance on Audioasis.

Born Ruffians - 5/11/2013
Canadian indie pop outfit Born Ruffians recently dropped by the KEXP studio to showcase a number of bright, hook-laden songs from their newest album, "Birthmarks." Give a listen!

Haunted Horses - 5/11/2013
Seattle post-rockers Haunted Horses have constructed an incredible live sound for themselves. Guitars bleed into samples, which loop into beats, which chew into howling vocal lines. Each instrumental squawk is magnified and repeated until it becomes its own otherworldly beat, and the divides betwen signal and noise, melody and rhythm, and sampled sound and instrumental tone disintegrate. What's left behind is a vaguely menacing and oddly beautiful set of tunes. In short: it's all pretty great. Give a listen to their recent live set on Audioasis.

Brooklyn-based rock band The National plays a set that features songs from the record "Trouble Will Find Me" live on KEXP from The Cutting Room Studios in New York City.
