Once again, KEXP joins the global celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. After much conversation and consultation with KEXP’s Latinx staff in how we can be more inclusive of the multitude of experiences and histories in these communities, this year we will be celebrating as Latinx Heritage Month.
From September 15 to October 15, KEXP will center voices from some of our favorite Latinx and Latinx-American artists. All month long we’ll be featuring special programming, live sessions, features, and a renewed music archive with music from Latinx American artists around the world.
Additionally, we’ll be sharing the reflections and perspectives of individuals from our Latinx community in Seattle, highlighting visionary projects being developed from a variety of Latinx organizations and various music scenes. Keep it tuned to KEXP and KEXP.org all month long for new content and musical suggestions from all over Latin America.

Una vez más, KEXP se une a la celebración del Mes de la Herencia Hispana en Estados Unidos. Después de mucha conversación y consulta con el staff Latinx de KEXP sobre cómo podemos ampliar la diversidad de voces y visibilizar aún más las historias musicales alrededor de América Latina, decidimos este año celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Latinx.
Del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre, KEXP reunirá las voces de algunos de nuestros artistas latinoamericanos favoritos. Durante todo el mes, presentaremos programación especial, sesiones en vivo, colaboraciones y un archivo musical renovado con música de artistas latinoamericanos de todo el mundo.
Además, compartiremos las reflexiones y perspectivas de personas de nuestra comunidad Latinx en Seattle, destacando proyectos visionarios que se están desarrollando a partir de una variedad de organizaciones Latinx y varias escenas musicales.
