KEXP is proud to present the John in the Morning at Night Birthday Bash on Friday, March 9 at Neumo's. Headlining the show and celebrating their CD release will be the party-rockin’ Seattle hip hop group, The Saturday Knights. Also performing will be ‘60s-inspired Swedish pop singer El Perro del Mar, promising up-and-coming Seattle band The Blakes, who are attracting increasingly larger crowds with their raw and swaggering garage pop, and dynamic Pennsylvania post-punkers The Shackeltons.
KEXP’s Michele Myers (Nite Life Fridays, 9pm-1am) will be DJing in between bands. There will be a live broadcast on KEXP 90.3 FM/KEXP.ORG from 9pm-1am.
