2009 Austin City Limits Festival Fly-Away Enter-to-Win Contest Rules

KEXP, WNYE, and C3 Presents (the “Sponsors”) are sponsoring a contest in conjunction with the 2009 Austin City Limits Festival. The contest rules are as follows:

Contest Dates: The contest begins on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 6:00am PDT and ends on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 5:00pm PDT. Winners will be notified via e-mail or phone.

Prizes: -One (1) pair 3-day Passes to ACL ($370)
-Two (2) round trip tickets to the event from anywhere in the United States ($800 value)
-Four (4) night hotel stay for 2 adults ($1000). Double occupancy, Thurs 10/1 arrival, Mon 10/5 departure
Ground transportation not provided and is the responsibility of the winner. If Grand Prize winner’s home is less than 150 miles from the selected location of Austin City Limits Festival, air transportation will not be awarded and alternative ground transportation will be provided. All other expenses relating to the Grand Prize package not specified are the sole responsibility of the winner. No cash equivalent is available. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary on the dates specified by the Sponsors, (Approx October 1 – 5, 2009) or forfeit all rights to prize. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except as provided herein.

Eligibility: To enter, the contestant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident alien of the United States, and must be over the age of 21 years old. Questions about eligibility will be determined by documentary evidence (either a valid driver’s license, state i.d. card, or U.S. passport). No more than one entry per household will be eligible. No employee or immediate family member of Sponsor is eligible to enter the contest.

How to Enter: Applicants can:

2. Write a postcard to KEXP (no donation necessary). You may send one standard-size postcard per household, with your name, address and both day and evening telephone numbers to:

   Postcards must arrive at KEXP by 5pm, July 6th, 2009.

Odds Of Winning: Odds of being selected as a prize winner depend on the total number of entries received. The prize will be chosen by random drawing at the conclusion of the contest period. The prize will be awarded, regardless of the number of entries received. Decision of the judges is final.

Notification: Winner selected and notified by Wednesday, July 15, 2009 via email or phone. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached within 48 hours of first attempt at notification, then the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.

Liability; Waiver: Contestant acknowledges that the Sponsors is/are not liable for any entries that are either misdirected or incomplete, is not liable for any losses due to electronic or computer malfunction, and is not responsible for any injuries or losses (1) occurring during or caused by participation in the contest, or (2) caused by any prize awarded. Participation in the Contest constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, creative word, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. Prize winner will be responsible for any taxes assessed on their winnings by any governmental agency, state, local or federal. Sponsor will notify the Internal Revenue Service of all winnings to the extent required by law.
